And yes, he is a back alley drug dealer type, but he still opened a vendor window for undead characters similar to other vendors in the game, that's what I mean.

This still works! Talking to him saying "you and I are alike" will spawn a ghost friend to which you can trade with.
He trades 3 Inflict Serious Wounds pots for 30 Funerary Tokens, 1 Random Necrotic scroll for 10 Marks of the Keeper and one Random Necrotic Wand for 5 Necromantic Gems.

I don't think so? It might just be that any major form is immune to it.
If cast on Elemental/Animal form it doesn't apply. If it is cast it out of form, then go into a major form the buff disappears but appears again when out of form.

Well for one, its a huge synergy for Sorcs in Heroic, even if they switch to Positive healing and Elemental form at 20. The 1-20 experience is still perfectly relevant enough on its own to justify design decisions.

For two, it does allow for a couple tertiary benefits for non-PM/DA/Abyss, even if they normally heal just as well with Positive. It gives Undead immunities, which are nice. It allows for you to use Boon and Darkhallow, for which there are no practical Positive equivalents. It lets PMs be able to heal you in group play. It allows for you to heal and damage mobs at the same time with Inflict Mass and Admixture, and not have to tetris in Positive gear just for self-heals as an Apothecary. And presumably in Lamordia we'll see more of a focus on death magic for an update cycle or two, so maybe there's some additional benefit still to be seen (Neg focused ED or something?)

Oh great, it wasn't available for a long time.

Now the devs need to add harm scrolls for platinum. Buying them with remnants is punitive for undead players; on a heroic life, you can spend a lot of them.

No, they were added via remnants instead of platinum, in the hall of heroes vendor. As a pale master i didn't need many, but an undead fighter for example is going to use a lot more. Players should be able to buy them with plat, rems are valuable for other things, like augments, filigrees, pots...

What's the bind status of the undead helping items you can get either from the undead vendor or the remanants trader?
