Did you know right click works on enhancement trees?

I did not know you could right click to get back a spent point when allocating enhancement points.

Most of you all probably knew this, but I just had my mind blown.

I don't know exacly why I did it, but I right clicked while over an item in my class enhancement tree and it unallocated the selection and gave me back my point.

Up until today, when I miss clicked or changed my mind, I would shut down the tree and start over.

I assume this was added when they added the right click to turn puzzle pieces the opposite way, but I didn't realize it would also work in enhancement trees.

Always read the fine print.

I believe it has always worked that way, but it could just be for a really long time.

Imagine how many Platinum you would have saved from respeccing if you tried right click to remove a point 15 years ago 😅

I love this. It makes me feel better about only recently realizing you could lock your inventory items so you don't accidentally sell them.... or mark them as junk to sell quickly.... I always thought the vendor junk button was broken.....

I still have the original game manual. Won't help with much now though.

Clicking on the gem by the reset button opens the enhancement tab on the character sheet. Same thing is on the reaper and destinies windows.

See the class symbol by the tree name at the bottom? If you click, hold and drag you can re-order the windows without having to reset the trees and use the drop-down menus. Again, this works on the destiny and reaper windows. The only enhancement tree you can't move is the racial one. It's always on the far left.

Yep, I knew it.
It was literally the first thing I've tested when the talent trees were introduced in DDO.
Every other game I played at the time that used talent trees had this option. So I was wondering if it was added to DDO or not.

Every day is a school day.
For those who can see what they don't know, that's absolutely true. It's satisfying to learn something new.

But I also know people who feel insulted when you tell them something they didn't know. And I think there are two things at play: seeing your own gaps takes a certain amount of insight in the first place – if you think you know everything, that's usually a sign you don't (Dunning-Kruger effect). But feeling offended about it on top of that is no longer about intelligence, that's attitude.

The right click was kind of intuitive for me, but I learned from this thread that I can drag the icons to re-engage the enhancement – and that's also something good to know, even if I didn't miss that knowledge before.
