Dino Bow vs Alacrity

Hey All

Going to try a Ranger build (of some type) to see how the new AOE arrows work.

Endgame though (for the moment) I don't have access to Chaosbow or Aerania (250 runes from being able to grab it, but I never see the Raid anymore)

So my choices for the toon ( racial + class completionist, only 68 Reaper points but has everything else maxed I think- if it matters) are Sapphire Sting, Twisted Willow, or build a Dino Bow.
Just curious which is probably better- mostly for soloing R5 stuff at most.

I'm a trusting sort so I don't need a huge math analysis, Just not sure if 20% alacrity and expanded crit range makes up for lower base damage on ESS, or if LTW with it's Elasticity would be better, or if I should just build a dino bow with something. (Regular dino bow, not Attuned)

Thanks!

You can add alacrity to a Dino Armor via Fragment of Extraplanar Shadow. If you are up for the grind. I have moved off profane Dino Set and kept the helm and armor and made the set with the Dread Stalker cloak (added that set to armor and helm via bone crafting). Having Extraplanar Shadow slotted in armor allows me to move to an Undying Age Bow, which is better.
