Im sorry, but all this elitist stuff that basically says that you have to play high reaper at cap to be considered a decent build
Context matters. Most of us hyper focused on single-target raid builds know this. We do get a little tunnel vision when talking about whether a build is "good" or not, though.
A great raid build doesn't mean it's good for questing. Repeaters *suck* for quests due to the annoyingly slow targeting and button response. It's pretty much only good for locking onto a big fat target and pulling it down.
I'd swap to INQ and take the 20% DPS hit in a heartbeat if I could one-button swap for quests at cap. Fortunately, I created it purely for raids. I v.rarely quest on it and I only TR it to swap into a different ranged raid build.
There's a LOT of focus on maximizing single target DPS for raids because it's a singular shared goal. When you start talking about fun quest builds, personal taste blurs the target and makes it more difficult to share & discuss.
