Do I need to make a char and get my first time server favor before transferring too s with 500 favor+? As well as the per server YoD rewards? Really wish they would give us more time for this transfer 30 days is not enough time when playing for 14+ years.......

You shouldn't have too, but it seems broken, and the least likely thing to get fixed now. So if you care about 1st time rewards, I would.

You can transfer them, but either immediately TR one or run up an alt from what's been said to insure you get 1st time favor rewards.

For example, if you transfer a character who's at 1995 favor and TR them, you can get the 5 favor, 25, etc. 1st time rewards.

But if you transfer characters who's at 1995 favor, you then do a quest and hit 2k favor, you'll get the 2k 1st time reward but it'll eat the 1st time rewards for under 2k (5, 25, etc. will be gone for good).

if you roll up a toon on the new server real quick you will be sure to get the first time rewards and the reward box.

Before transfering, no. Before playing - yeah. Unless one of your characters is going to immediately do a reincarnation and start over with 0 favor, you can short yourself the first time favor bonuses.
