Does unlocking Machrotechnic grant fate points?

[Tragedian]

Each destiny you unlock historically grants 3 fate points. 3 Fate points convert to 1 destiny point. So my question is, does buying Machrotechnic give an additional permanent destiny point?

[Ying]

You get one destiny point for unlocking Machrotechnic.

Thank you for confirming!

It does. I'm assuming you cannot get the 3 fate points without owning it but I didn't try talking to the NPC prior to owning the expansion to confirm.

They'll tell you don't own it; so no you can't get those. (You can get the new past lives without owning the expansion)
