Don't use +20 lesser heart of wood to change the class if you're going to reincarnate into that same class next life

A couple days ago I've used my +20 Lesser Heart of Wood to change my class from an Artificer into a Sorcerer. Today I decided to reincarnate into an Artificer again, and during character creation I was unable to take Arti spells that I had in my previous life prior to using the Lesser Heart of Wood. There were only trash spells on the list of available spells. I'm assuming this would happen with any other class as well. I have contacted SSG, still waiting for their response. I'm not playing until this issue is resolved.

You have to re-learn spells each life.
If you changed all your levels to a different class, why would you expect to rememeber spells from a class you no longer have?

No the bug is that any spell you previously knew last life won't be available to learn at lvl 1. It happens without hearts too, if one does back to back wizard or other spell book lives it can bug out like that too (it doesn't do it every time, just sometimes). It should fix itself after level 1 and let you learn spells correctly from lvl 2 onwards from what has been said by others in the past.

Oh, so I should be fine once I get to level 2 spells?

Yup nothing to do with the heart. This bug has been around for more than 10 years at this point. I try to avoid doing two lives with classes with inscribed spellbooks back to back. From my experience it didn’t always resolve itself after level 1 but I haven’t done it for a long time (since I mained an artificer) so hopefully it has improved since. It’s not a deal breaker as you can inscribe the spells instead of picking them at level up.

SO what? just go to Cannith and Portable Hole & buy the scrolls of Arti spells they have.. scribe em and you are WAY ahead of the curve.. just use the 'rare scroll' listing on Wiki to know what spells to learn and buy anything else

Yes I can do that. But it's just too much of a hassle to go through all this. Finding a way around the bug is only a temporary solution. They need to fix this. I'm level 1, I don't have access to portable hole. I will have to log into my alt, but the scrolls and send them to my main and then inscribe the spells one by one manually. It is an inconvenience.

Edit: There are no scrolls for Arti spells at Portable Hole. So I can say goodbye to all the important spells that are crucial for the leveling process...
