Double-claim of the VIP Loyalty Rewards

I logged in today (August 1, 2024) to claim the 4th month reward of the new VIP Loyalty Reward Program. When I spoke to Violet Peregrine to claim the reward (Bonus Character Slot), nothing happened. So I spoke to her again and then I got three messages, one noting that I claimed the bonus character slot reward for month 4 (which has correctly been applied to my account), one noting that I claimed the 10% item durability ward (the reward for month 5) and one noting that it is too soon to claim further rewards.

I closed the game and re-launched, and the 10% item durability ward is not applied to my character (which is correct) however I'm worried that this may create issues down the road when trying to claim future rewards or that when month 5 rolls around, I won't actually be able to receive the benefits of the item durability ward. As well, I noticed that the VIP Loyalty Program menu shown in game shows that I have claimed all the rewards up to and including month 5.

Yeah so buggy. Same happened to me in month 2. But i had nog progression at all. Just the too soon to claim message...

Their answer to my ticket was: you.have no screenshot to prove it... so well done on making a screenshot. In my case they insisted their system is failproof and i just did not claim month 2.

Terrible user support.

After seeing all the reports of others having issue, when I've claimed my last few rewards I've turned on video recording before taking it. Last month I caught the sentXP gem reward being wrong as a result. There's too many reports of wonkiness for me to feel secure that things will work correctly.

This has happened to multiple people. As usual, SSG's response is crickets. Shows what they *really* think about their VIP's loyalty, doesn't it?

I really don't understand this VIP Laughable Program. Why give out so many useless and/or meh things, in a buggy program, after years of (supposed) development, when there were entire threads of simpler ideas that players actually wanted?

Ah, well, still hoping that a working Monster Manual will be the reward for month 1337.

Yup, figured the screenshot would (hopefully) negate their automated reply of "we don't know what you're talking about." They got their proof of something being buggy, so hopefully they will actually provide some meaningful support.

As long as it won't affect the rewards for months 6 and afterwards, I don't care. At least it bugged out for me on the worst reward of the entire program :)
