The tests I've seen place RXB somewhere around 20% higher boss DPS than Inquis (based on tests by the same player), but the gamefeel is a lot worse and the builds are extremely limited. But 3x actives instead of 2x adds up fast lol. Ballpark 1/3 of RXB DPS is HE, 1/3 Pluck, and only 1/3 for the rest.

Inquis is definitely better for most of DDO, but that's too large of a margin to ignore IMO.

People can have differing opinions. And inquisitor was absolutely disgustingly broken towards the end of last year - nerfing it to the ground would still leave many other builds underground in comparison.

Yeah, the "into the ground" translation being, "still better than 95% of all proper builds".

So the only ranged better is Shuriken? And only when you have 100 Dex?

That is NOT what I said. They nerfed NHB in June, that's what I pointed out.

Inq is still good. It's not the best ranged build any longer, but it is very easy to make a decent one. So, good even for newbs.

Personally I would prefer that the focus would be that buffing is done where needed (casters right now) rather than nerfing crossbows further, which might kill off another playstyle.
