For people having issues with the splash screen not downloading.
Modify your launcher's shortcut commands for (adjust based off where yours is saved):

"C:\Games\StandingStoneGames\Dungeons & Dragons Online\DNDLauncher.exe" -nosplash -skiprawdownload

And you should be fine.

For those who don't understand how to do it:
Right click your game's launcher shortcut icon; choose properties. Add

to the line highlighted in this image. Apply and okay.

A bunch of those fixes like that are likely way too recent to have been in this update. "fixed internally" doesn't always mean next patch, but soon.

We are troubleshooting launcher access issues currently, and we will let you know when this issue is resolved. Some players are able to access the game worlds, but many are experiencing a launcher issue. We are investigating.

Check anti-virus to make sure today's update didn't get flagged by it, try rebooting, check crash logs to see if you can tell what the issue is. Try swapping between 32-bit and 64-bit client in the launcher.
