Shreds Licks Way Beyond His Capabilities
The guild airship Farshifter can now offer more than nine teleportation options, and now offers the ability to teleport to Myth Drannor for characters with access to the Myth Drannor teleportation item available in the Ultimate Edition of Magic of Myth Drannor.
Does this mean we get better fast travel options from guild airship?

I think the bigger concern right now is; did they mistake the Capain as the Farshifter? Or are they talking about the old Farshifter NPC? Or the one via the room you can get?

All we know, is that "one" of them at least can do this, but which one? And how many others as well?

Does it matter? You can access the Farshifter from the Captain.

Im wondering if this is actually meaning they are making it worse? is the fast travel options only available from ship if you bought them? If so I think they really need to add option to buy the fast travel options separately and possibly have them always accecible for VIP

Yes there is a minor difference.

1. If the original comment on this by the Dev mistook the Captain as the Farshifter, it would mean they thought that you don't need the actual Farshifter Room to transport. When in actuality you do. If your guild ship doesn't have the Farshifter, you can't transport to adventure area hubs (Orchard, Gianthold, etc).

2. If they meant it's possible via the Farshifter, in theory the Captain should work as well, but this is not a guarantee. After all, you can get to the other Stormreach teleporters when visiting the Farshifter. You can't via the Captain. Although this is of course taking into account of the onboard Stormreach teleporter right behind the Farshifter. And of course, there's the possibility that the Captain and the actual Farshifter has different dialogue options and thus one might be possible and not the other; this was the case recently when the Captain couldn't send us due to dialogue issues whilst the Farshifter still could.

We'll get clarification once the servers come up, but given how the Devs could mistake things, we can't take things for granted on its own.

Neither the Captain nor the Farshifter seem to offer Myth Drannor as a destination. The captain once again offers Gatekeeper Grove so the resizing for more destinations was needed for that. Perhaps that is what the note meant to say?

From the grove one can jump to Myth Drannor easily enough. That is better than the far shifter offering it directly if they don't want to devalue the teleport clicky that was in the ultimate package.

UPDATE: The game worlds have reopened.

The DDO game worlds will be unavailable on Wednesday, August 14th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Eastern (-4 GMT) to release Update 69: Magic of Myth Drannor! Read the release notes on DDO.com. Thank you for your patience, and we'll see you back in the game soon!
Why is eerie aim, a feat available at level 21, better than legendary aim which is not available until level 31?
