UPDATE: The game worlds have reopened.

The DDO game worlds will be unavailable on Wednesday, February 11th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Eastern (-5 GMT) to release Update 77.2.1. Find the release notes on DDO.com. Thank you for your patience, and we will see you back in the game soon.

Update 77.2.1 Release Notes​

Here are the release notes for Update 77.2.1, released on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026.

News and Notes:​

  • This update corrects an issue with the Vow of Glory effect that was causing characters with the effect to not be able to properly acquire loot when the Symphony of the Fey event was inactive. The Symphony of the Fey event has now been disabled following its re-introduction last week. Characters will no longer retain the Vow of Glory effect.

Strange that the Devs cant post this to forums directly. I think they're trying to drive up website clicks or something.

I'm wondering why these restarts take place when they do. This is morning in the U.S. and prime-time for European players. Can't they be scheduled when it impacts fewer people? Perhaps 4:00 A.M, PST 1:00 A.M EST.
My guess is that its due to the staffing needed to monitor everything.

You are correct. It is a staffing issue. A lot different team resources go into recovering from a fix or patch gone bad.
