don't worry , they will add levers to rotate them
like in "Eternity Unleashed"/ Night Revels or "Oath of Vengeance" / Argynvostholt.

to cordovan: I want you to ask the devs to explore an option I was thinking about last night whilst getting my *ss kicked in a random dungeon due to lag:

at every shrine there should be a large button that needs to be pressed once. Upon pressing this button the entire quest freezes for everyone (including the monsters), the purpose being to give the ecosystem enough time to update all background calculations etc

Several of the monsters and NPCs would occassionally say that, and your general chat would list things like:
(General) Hennespyra says, "THE OTHER IMPOSSIBLE CASE!!"
