But no, we had a case with two people on same computer both VIP, one yes, the other no.

Purely account, and I don't know how they messed it up this bad out of the 15 people I know that still play 1 can get in, he is also not a VIP, but I can even log in as him works fine.

The new server won't fully open until 5pm EST to allow those working on the east coast a fair chance at getting their preferred name. That's my story and I'm sticking with it, no Cormyr until 5pm est!

Location does not make a difference, I have tried all across the states and Canada on my VPN and nothing works. It has to be an account-based issue, and the authentication services they use are clearly junk..

Here's what I don't understand...if Cormyr is up for only a handful of people, why isn't it taken down for everyone? Fix the problem, and then re-open it for all...

And to hear that non-vip are getting in is even more bonkers...why pay for VIP if it doesn't mean squat?

The server should certainly have been taken down to address this issue and it should actually have updates and be worked on instead of seemingly pushing the issue under the rug, since the only update in an hour was telling us useless information about the recommended server changing.

I am VIP on main account. It has access to Cormyr. my 2 premium accounts show it as closed. I copied and tested on the server with my main. Maybe that is why some have access and others don't?

i just heard from a buddy in Chicago that he's able to log in, and is now making toons.

this could be a bit problematic if people go name-grabbing.

so yeah, the server should be brought down for all.
