I really hope everything goes well on this new server, I love this game and have been playing for 13 years... so I really want it to work out, but at this first moment it's sad to see how the new server is and even sadder is the fact that it separates who is VIP from the rest, I believe that at most 20% of my friends are only VIP.

Maybe it will get better, but so far day 1 is a disaster and I am being generous. Took me 30 minutes to move to the top of the ship and do my dice rolls. People are already referring to Cormyr as the fresh fart server instead of the fresh start server.

Was trying to switch characters and last time was stuck in Cleaning up old connection for 5+ minutes. Friend and I were racing to see which would be faster.

We may need to open a new channel just for folks to be able to query and request possible names they missed getting due to LAG. I know I was able to create a few and if I have an ALT name someone is really attached to, I would give it up. Life is too short to be stuck on the name of a game toon.

It could, but it would mean a lot of chaos for people who spent ddo points already on their new toons. So I doubt they would do that.
