Good morning young people. It's me, Strimtom. I've been playing a bunch of dragon disciple and I have found it an absolute blast to level with. Super fun and something I can easily recommend. It's very fast thanks to monk movement speed as well as getting loads of AOE for screen clearing goodness. There are some hang ups once we get to the super endgame, but over all I think I performs very well in most types of content. So I wanted to give a build for people who wanted to get started with dragon disciple and don't know where to go, as this build has served me well while playing through so far.
TL;DW
I have two versions of the build; the first is for first life characters for people who want to dip their toes in, and the second is the version that I played with a VERY sketchy gearset. I took a year off from DDO and I'm still getting back into making better sets, so please use that as a basic guide and not as the best options you can pick, as I am certainly missing things.

TL;DW
- Really fast for levelling
- Comes with AOE, healing, defence, and speed
- Lots of elements means you can use whatever you think is best or looks cool
- Very flexible in terms of weapon selection
- Endgame as a caster is a little shaky, but both melee and ranged options can do well.
- This build focuses on the transmutation endgame for mass frog, which may or may not work out. Either way, use this as a guide for 1-34 levelling, not for endgame.
I have two versions of the build; the first is for first life characters for people who want to dip their toes in, and the second is the version that I played with a VERY sketchy gearset. I took a year off from DDO and I'm still getting back into making better sets, so please use that as a basic guide and not as the best options you can pick, as I am certainly missing things.
