Regardless of the quality of a posted build, he's not wrong about the tone of the responses and criticisms being fairly toxic.

Mary could probably post better builds, but you (and others) could most definitely be a lot more constructive and a lot less negative in your criticisms. And that's coming from me - I'm no saint.

Better yet, post your own build so Mary and all the other new players that you think will be victimized by such a bad build will have a good build as a reference instead - or to put it another way, put up or shut up.

Most of the people flaming OP are forum paladins who couldn't put a build together if they had to. So they don't understand the time of time, effort and analysis that goes into it. Not every build posted to the forums is a home run, and some are posted as a meme. But every build posted is an opportunity for players to better understand the game. Rather than flaming OP, use the build to understand what not to do and why.

Being correct doesn’t automatically mean you aren’t coming off sounding like a jerk. You can be both correct and rude.

Secondly, you never said please. You called it a troll build, which since you know good and well he wasn’t trolling, makes you the troll.

Do better. Post a good build if you know so much. Show people a better option.
