Dragon Disciples and Shuriken

Hello!

As far as I understand, DD's do not qualify for being centred while wielding shuriken (or quarterstaffs). Is there a way around this without splashing Sacred Fist?

I would be very surprised if DD didnt have proficiency but to answer the question if they didnt (and I cant check right now) you can spend a feat to become proficient in any weapon in the game.

Being proficient and being centered are different things.

As far as centering, when I ran DD to give it a try, I was centered with shuriken. Not sure about staves.

True but being centered has nothing to do with classes - a barbarian can be centered if he wants.

Edit: To clarify kama, shuriken, quarterstaff, and handwraps always center* (classed as Ki weapons) but the class is not necessarily proficient (see Sacred Fist)

*Assuming other requirements are met
