Normally, it is a circular aura, which then changes color based on element choice in the Dragon enhancement tree. Definitely a graphical bug.No option to turn it off, it's probably something in the graphics settings that make it the bugged out square.
I'm getting a very bright white, very square area. It covers all Rems, keys, etc. Have to use Bcksp to find items because it makes the change of the cursor very hard to see as well. Toon is a Dwarf. Haff on Thelanis.Normally, it is a circular aura, which then changes color based on element choice in the Dragon enhancement tree. Definitely a graphical bug.
I had this exact problem, and found that my DirectX setting under Options was set to DirectX9. I changed the setting to DirectX10 and DirectX11, and the big, bright glowy square the size of a puzzle tile that completely blocked my view went away. So try changing your DirectX setting in Options and restart the client.I'm getting a very bright white, very square area. My DiectX setting was greyed out, so I had to reset my adapter through the login settings. DirectX11 fixed the problem. Glad that fixed it for you, too! And yes, jumping and puzzles are much easier without that bright square "tile" around your feet instead of the aura/circles.My DiectX setting was greyed out, so I had to reset my adapter through the login settings. DirectX11 fixed the problem. Thanks a bunch.
This should make the pillar jumping in Down You Go much less aggravating.
