Dual box accounts from same PC. Is this ok to discuss?

AFAIK it is not possible through steam. In order to run multiple instances/accounts at the same time on the same computer, you need to use DDO's own launcher, which has an option to allow multiple instances. Once checked, you can open as many as your computer can handle.

Who would want to use Steam and be reminded of how much time they spend playing DDO? It is bad enough being reminded for the single player games.

The girlfriends pc ran both clients like butter 0 issues. We both have FIOS. Maybe I'll have to build another desktop soon.

I borrow my daughter's account if I am dead and do not want to repeat the quest. No issues, FIOS so the connection is pretty stable and relatively fast.
