Decided to try and dust off one of my worse alts and use feat respecs. I've got Loclana and a stack of flawless Siberys dragonshards, yeah!

Went to Fred: (Due to changes in the game's systems, you need to perform a lesser reincarnation, or any other form of reincarnation, before you may exchange feats with Fred again).

Ok, sure, let me go check the bank because I'm sure SSG gave me a free LR heart for just such an occasion, right?

Right?

WRONG. They made some change and this poor guy is locked in to a crap build.


And before anyone tries to be a wise guy, let's go down the list:

-No, I can't do an ER, build is too broken
-No, I can't do any kind TR, char is not capped and is too broken to play to cap
-No, I'm not about to spend money, I should not be charged for changes SSG made.


I guess he's bricked. I needed another mule(not).

The last time they changed stuff they gave everyone +5 lesser hearts (for everyone level 20+ because of changes to epic feats). You didn't have any kind of +x lesser heart?

its an alt, so farm the tokens on the main and then send to the alt? or just post and lfm and hope pugs help you out (most are friendly and will happily do so)

Yep. There is no such thing as a character which is too broken to play to cap. I found an old Fighter / Monk / Paladin character which dual wields battle axes I made about 10 years ago and it is able to solo Elite and does fine in groups in reaper. This is with green gear too.

Put Feywild/Raveloft/Sharn/Borderlands (whatever your level is) gear on and the power doubles.

People have made it to cap without ever spending any points or wearing any gear havent they? Using bare hands for combat?

OP: either get a crossbow and go Inquis, or get a dagger and go VKF if you have those trees.

Are you just wanting to gripe and vent or did you want help from the community? There's nothing wrong with just venting.

If you want help however, you listed all the problems but didn't give any details on the build, character and what resources it has access to which would have helped people give you ideas and advice on the best options to get it TR'able.

Is this an iconic? Otherwise you don't have to be capped to TR. Do you not have friends and/or guildies in the game that would help you?

I know if something like this happened to one of my guildies, half the guild would help powerlevel them to cap so they could TR.

I made a mistake on my character because I accidentally had the wrong trainer in my focus orb (I was using a controller, not mouse and keyboard). I needed to reincarnate to fix it. Customer service was really cool about it and gave me a heart.

In this case it isn't even your fault like it kinda was in mine. Have you tried customer service? I realize it could be a while, or they could say no, but if you haven't done so already I'd give it a try.

Any build can creep to 20 on normal or even hard mode and HTR

Aren't the hearts BTC when they're given for game changes?

My guess would be they were programmed to be auto-given when a character logged in within a certain time frame, and they didn't log in until that time ended.

With the power of gear and enhancements Im sure you could get there with Elite. It sounds like a low-life toon too, so 1.9m XP is simple.

I guess the reason you didn’t get the heart is because you didn’t log in during the period when the change was made and the free hearts were given out.

I’m lazy, so I had some characters who just logged in, got the heart, and didn’t bother to TR.
Actually, I still have a few like that.

TR is an insanely tedious process, after all.
I’m sure SSG would forgive me.

I have bank toons that have 3 hearts on them due to various changes over the years.

Had the exact same problem tr cached mine works perfect now

Did have the heart went with deep gnome the 1 iconic i do like

Here is another exemple where we should be able to get Lesser Heart of wood in the game.
Every games focusing on character build offer mechanics to respec.

- Add a new ingredient (like seeds or commendations of valor) we can get in all Heroic quests rewards to trade for Lesser Heart of wood
- Add the Lesser Heart of wood in the list of seeds/commendations of valor
- Add the Lesser Heart of wood as a reward option for every heroic sagas
- Each life a character after TR should have a free respec with a NPC or have a new Lesser Heart of wood in his inventory
