Meh not really? It just seems that way since it snapped back towards the center from where it was pre-sale, so far to the other side. The fact that conservatives have an unrestricted voice there now doesnt necessarily make it a conservative platform. There are still plenty of dissenting voices there too.
I'd say Bsky is the counterpart to Truth, and both think Twitter belongs to the other side, which is usually a good sign that its being fair
Bsky is not centrist or neutral by any measure, though...its meant to be, and is, what Twitter was before X, which it might claim was neutral but was far from it in practice.Will SSG set up an account on Truth now though, to help stay better connected to their MAGA playerbase?

I see people talking about Bluesky as a left-leaning social media platform. It is not. This is just what a social media platform looks like when extremist right-wingers aren't using bots and/or forcing algorithms that push fear mongering and hate. The world has been pushed so far to the right, that even conservative moderates are labeled left-leaning.
Don't play the game. It's not left-leaning. That's the framing of the right to help continually push things right. Bluesky is very moderate with both conservative (not extremist) thought and liberal thought. Enjoy what it looks like in the center where people can talk.

This is the dilemma, though...if you think half the world is so far to the right that you consider their thoughts and arguments invalid (or at least too extreme to include in the discussion; "fear mongering and hate" is that kind of rhetoric), then you're just sampling between the center and far left - in which case you'd call a moderately liberal community "centrist", and centrists "conservative (not extremist)". Which I think is what happened on old Twitter, and is replicating itself on Bsky now.
And before the mods delete all these and lock the thread for getting off-topic into politics...you knew what you were getting into when you announced you were on Bsky

If we’re only talking about the game, then X and Bluesky aren’t any different.
The problem isn’t the platform.
The real issue is people like you who inject politics into DDO, and the devs who avoid posting on the official forums and choose to share info elsewhere instead.

Exactly. I am not sure why there were any posts regarding isles, chairs, or grass. SSG is a company, they need to make use of social media platforms as a supplementary method of communication. Bluesky is just one of many others that they already are using. End of story.
