Forced to run 3 lives of this hot garbage race in order to maintain Racial Completionist...

In my opinion, The racial tree and core abilities are aabsolute trash, and easily the worst out of any race for melee/caster/ whatever..

anybody else feel the same?

Leap in level one, tons of sneak die on one boost, lots of doublestrike in the tree, 3-6 stat from race? Not sure how that's very weak.

Leap and Vigor.

Possibly the strongest race for levelling 1-12 as a sorc in my experience.

On caster, you just go spring attunement. Get the leap. Get bonus dodge when using the leap for when things go sideways. Grab vigor. Makes leveling nice.

I mean they are probably a bit worse than like dragonborn or tabaxi for specific things, but easy access leaps and a pick-your-own utility spell is pretty fantastic for leveling.

actually your right.

they need hamp in their tree and make a choice of +2 str dex con or +2 int cha wis

and last core gives +10 mcl.

that would make them up to par

Trash?...

Not sure what build you're running, but I'm guessing that's more the issue than the racial abilities. The racial abilities seem solid.

+4 to stats, +6% accuracy, auto-spot/search, wings/step with some decent temp bonuses, some decent QoL SLAs, etc.

Is it the strongest racial tree ever? Probably not, but it's not bad.

Wow, I think it's very powerful race.

Leap
Multiple flexible Stat points for many different builds
Displacement (think about that for melees)
Vigor (self healing!)

It's even better for endgame martial. Top 3 race certainly, maybe better than that depending on the build.

A part, but not anywhere close to most of it—6% doublestrike is *huge* for some builds, 6 base damage on sneak attacks is worth more than any MP in any melee tree, 6 dex is awesome for some builds, etc.

So a few % dps. Snore... I would much rather they made the teleport recharge so the race got a clear identity.

Martial races are defined by small DPS-wood elf barbs, aasimar everything, shifter (not rc) everything, horc bears, etc.
