Just wondering why use Void as opposed to Chaosbow, which is arguably the best bow in the game before upgrading to Aeon? I use the arrows from Void, but apart from that swung across to Aeon once i had pulled one, previously was using Chaosbow. I started down the path towards crafting Legendary GS Bow, Dino Bow, SIlver Flame and Collapsible Shortbow, but didnt progress with them as i just use Aeon for everything. Before i pulled Chaosbow, i was using Sapphire Sting and Pinion
Void is full tricked out with filigrees so the doubleshot is highest (although I am now over 100 with all bows.)

More often I get the Frozen Terror and then switch to Dino Bow with Tar.

What is this Chaosbow you people speak of?

But any bow full tricked out with Filigrees will have the same DS, there is nothing about Void that increases DS over other bows. Im just not understanding the bow selection, or more so the reasoning. If you put the same filigrees into any bow, your DS will be the same. Most raids you dont want summoned pets, so the Tar ooze effect is of little benefit. I recently changed a couple of Filigrees and coupled with Misty Step and Improved Archers Focus RP currently caps at 540 and 127 percent DS. Each to their own i guess, im just not understanding the use of Void as a main bow

First of all Void is the one that is currently tricked out. I do not want to transfer the gem since you can use Void at 28 and the other bows are slowly being fed XP. Slowly since the grind (especially in Dread) is real. I also mentioned that I usually summon Frozen Terror and then switch to dino bow. Raids are not the only content and the summoned creatures make sneak attacks more likely and keep the mobs over there. Where I want them. Away from me. I don't like to be touched. I carry four other bows with me at cap that we haven't even mentioned.

Ok, Chaosbow, superior in all regards compared to Void and can be used at 28. Better idea, get a Chaosbow, they drop a bit in KT, switch Filigrees and gem to it, and just use arrows from Void. Unless you are soloing, summoned creatures dont matter, thats what the rest of the party is for, to keep mobs off you. 4 extra bows is 4 extra bows too many. Chaosbow till you can use Aeon, then Aeon all the way. There really is no comparison. Dead mobs dont touch you.
