Probably, but that's not something I can confirm. I just have screenshots and my memory, not video.Oh, one more thing, if you died in the spell field whilst moving into it, I can assume that you were leading enemies through it as well, correct?
No prob. I'll just brute force that later on if the previous tests don't pan out with replicatable results.Probably, but that's not something I can confirm. I just have screenshots and my memory, not video.
Discord links break here :(Combat logs:
I don't know what's changed recently. I've had Discord hosted images remain for months (or longer) without broken links on the forum. Sometime recently (past couple of months) that's changed. Now it seems like the images break after 24 hours...?Discord links break here :(
Discord images do seem to break pretty fast at times; I wonder if they did stuff to limit 3rd party usage outside discord itself. I mostly use imgur for my stuff; but even they break after a couple months and I have to rehost the file.I don't know what's changed recently. Yes, discord intentionally made this change a few months back to basically not be a free image host for other websites any more. Image links now have a token in the URL that expires after 24 hours, if you're in discord it will just generate a new token for the image but it will break on any other platform.I don't know what's changed recently. I managed to do this to my character when casting Evard's on stuff that spawns "underground" (Skeletons coming out of ground in side rooms in Crypt oF Gerard Dryden. Managed to get it to happen multiple times, but not even close to every time.Possible suspect located (was found outside of testing setup, so can't confirm but was observed to have an effect on the player, which could lead to colours/rainbow affecting the player). Currently still working on this, but hoping this might be the culprit. I might just chuck it over to Cordovan and ask them to check since they will be able to get the effect going more consistently than I would be able to as a player and see if it's the problem.

Did you get an update from them? I’m planning to run a warlock life soon, and I’d like to avoid suicide where possible ?Possible suspect located (was found outside of testing setup, so can't confirm but was observed to have an effect on the player, which could lead to colours/rainbow affecting the player). It is still very much happening. I hope to see some action on this bug post Myth Drannor, because killing oneself AND party members is lame.Did you get an update from them? I’m planning to run a warlock life soon, and I’d like to avoid suicide where possible ?

I think it could be alright as an option that a group leader could click on and party members would have to accept and then friendly fire would be active for the group.DDO should make friendly fire a real thing. That more than anything else would create a change in the power creep meta.
Splash damage would make groups, raids and guilds reformulate how high level play works. Easy things would become not so easy.
When a Rogue accidentally wiped someone out as a result of a moving target situation everybody would get a good laugh out of it.
And what are the exact variables that cause it rabidfoxHopefully it gets fixed soon; accidental friendly fire in a Co-Op game isn't a good thing.
From what folks have indicated, it's a colors/rainbow proc occurring during the evard's cast. It started earlier this year (I don't think anyone has a specific enough timeline to link it to which update caused it). Since players can't manually control color/rainbow procs to determine which exact one (or ones) are causing evard's to friendly fire, it's would be up to SSG's QA or the devs to manually force each proc with an evard's cast to solve which one is to blame. And what are the exact variables that cause it rabidfox
