man, I gotta say this game is full of mysteries to me.... On one hand i've met some of the nicest, good natured people in game, on the other hand, i've never seen such a toxic environment as here on the forums, the SAME people who connect and enjoy the game as I do. and it's been like that for almost 20 years! I guess life is full of ironies....😒
similar experience...also pretty much none of the people i play with post on here...i would guess there's a lot of people more active on the forums than in game?

The lack of content did not really bother me until I ran with characters who have items from the paid content.

The weapons, items, augments and tokens are absurd in how powerful they are and can get.

Just proves to me that this is yet another pay-to-win game.

Except you don't need to pay for it. It can all be obtained by playing.

So with 30 minutes to go on the update, wouldn't it be good form and good communication to have an update mentioning either were on time or we will be delayed ? Since the last official statement has been like 5-6 hours ago ?

Let people know if they set their night differently or if its worth it to wait for the game to get back on in 30 minutes ?

Why nothing in 6 hours ?

It's not likely an easy thing to diagnose as it is not happening to everybody nor everytime. I have only come across 1 or 2 not working in the past two weeks and those were not constant. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't.
Only 1 or 2?! Lucky lucky! I hit up 7 different portal access points and couldn't get on the ship. I'm glad I had the creative idea to test an airship beacon of off frustration last week. It worked and the next thing I know, coupon code released. In the words of the Eye of Dalquor, "very interesting..."

woot now to the airship. that seems to takw awhile to mess up. think it depended on how many birds took the tele port

No they have not! I cant get on, on several tries.

My Lord. They’re breaking the game after completely failing to quality test the 64 bit transfer idea. It’s incredulous to behold the ineptitude and loss of opportunity SSG had with the renewed interest by so many players.

That is knowledge you don't need to know. And 99% of the community does not understand any answers they would give.
Go work for SSG and then you will know automatically.
Do you want them to work on the problems? Or typing all the answers to your questions of which you then will complain that the answer is not clear or complete enough.
Why don't you demand to know what clothes they are wearing? That's very important to some people. Since an IT guy in a suit can never be a good IT guy... right? Or what shoes they wear; since DEVs in croqs can never be good Devs, right?

Bologna. Im betting at least 50-60% would have a pretty good idea what they are talking about, at least in part. They cant work on fixing the problems and keep us in the loop?
I dont pay to know what clothes they wear so this is a completely out of left field comparison, I pay to play the game. Which has been largely unplayable for 3 week so yeah I want to know whats going on. Most of us aren't mad, but we are frustrated with lack of communication. You cant blankly say " well no one would understand so lets just not communicate with them" People want communication, and the communication has been bad. We dont expect high tech and specific information, we just want general updates on *** is going on. I dont think thats too much to ask since we have paid large sums of money over the last 20 years to play the game. Thats like having a car under warranty and when the engine breaks down getting zero information on whats wrong or when your car will be fixed and then the mechanic telling the customer "well you wouldnt understand so we will just let you know when its all done, go wait at home we may call you sometime in the next 3 or 4 weeks" And you're mad at the customer for wanting to know whats going on with their car, unbelievable.

Looks like unpacking isn't turned on for Shadowdale. That puts a full stop on what I was going to be doing.
