EXTREME MV Permadeath Tuesday group

Our guild has finally completed all transfering and has reset up our guild ship and cargo bay and hopd. We are hoping that this next update will fix the lag enough to legitimately let us get back at the permadeath style. Next tuesday we should be back to our standard guild night.

As for the static Tuesday night group, we have completed our TR process and are ready to start as second lifers. The power increase should be significant even though we destroy the majority of our gear to restart.

Edited OP to update we finished the TR process.

Our Tuesday static group has been running the last 3 weeks. Three weeks ago had us smash thru boederlands encounter area and the level 1 korthos content then taking 2nd level. Two weeks ago we finished miserys peak and powered thru all the rest of the level 2 harbor quests then taking 3rd level. This Tuesday we were victorious over all the heroic only level 3 quests and have now reached level 4. Our goal was to do this before Mabar started as our tuesday group will now avoid the Mavar champs during Octobers event, by sticking to running available once thru wilderness, our once thru cannith challenges and running a bunch of mabar quests to gather some event items.

Tuesdays guild nights have been sporadic (seeing us cap out at two groups) with several members waiting to see if the lag clears up before they risk the current environment, some are playing and navigating around it, guild named gear only subset toons haven't been running but a few of the members have engaged in our naked gear subset toons(which also limits guild members to only equipping one item besides weapon and ammunition slots), welcoming Igo our newest member to the guild. Igo is received as another european time zone player.

And the story continues……

Tuesday guild night kicked off with a bunch of members running thru the mabar graveyard hoarding up a bunch of keys then moving into the Crypt to run many of the challenges and even battling against eternity to get spectral ingredients. It was great to see Tuesday nights activity back to normal.

The Tuesday night static group decided we would do some questing as level 4’s running some borderland quests on reaper 3, then moving on to run the gatekeeper quests in cerulean hills on reaper 1, challenging our first Mabar champs which we discussed and prepared for thoroughly. We meet several of these champs with which our team unloaded their highest damage attacks to immediately dispose of these enemies. We finished the night running a few level 4 quests on elite, again taking a much more cautious pace to ensure all Mabar champs were annihilated immediately. The group will be taking level 5 for next week and will likely be hitting several level 5 quests before we taking level 6, our goal is to hit level 7 in two weeks so we can smash out some Mabar event stuff.

And the story continues…..

Side note we experienced zero lag inside of quests, although we experienced lock up game freezing lag inside public areas.

Tuesday night guild nights are back in full force with the game now having almost zero lag for our first life/second life toons. We started the evening having 4 different groups running at one point, groups varrying from new start ups, to a group risking low level mabar champs to level to 7 for mabar inclusion, and a group of named gear only toons smashing mabar for named gear loot. The late night continued with the second life tuesday static group plus another group of players helping out our new member harvest who joined us this week.

The Tuesday night second life static group started the night off taking level 5. We proceeded to be prepared for Mabar champs by focusing all dps immediately on them as we proceeded to run several level 5 quests. We then took level 6 and proceeded to run several level 6 quests allowing us to take level 7 by the end of the night which now allows us to smash out some mabar gear and grind out some keys throughout the week.

And the story continues…..

Side notes - the barebones division of our guild has re-engaged and now has a group of players playing the naked gear ruleset as level 4’s/5’s, we will keep this noted as it progresses. Wednesday night saw the reaper 4 static group progressing thru epic giant whilst a second group hammered some mabar. Named gear sundays is expected to have a high turn out this week as well. EXTREME is back in full force and growing again.

So doesn't that suggest running multi-TRed characters contribute to lag? Which seems surprising. the devs must have coded TRing in a very strange way if running multi-TRing characters can generate lag.

If that is a correct conclusion Narc2 it would be helpful to understand at what point lag is generated for example during attacks or generally

Tuesday night guild night continued strong welcoming two new members, Laylow who had run with many of our members in hardcore and Endo another player migrating from the previous less EXTREME version of our guild that had easier rulesets and seems to have gone dormant. We started the night off with two full groups running, a level 1 group helping the new guys and opening elite for them, and a group of mabar revellers running keys and the crypt challenges including the spectral dragon. We capped out the early evening with 15 active players on running assorted things. The late night continued with the Tuesday night static group and two smaller groups, one running with the new guys and the other running mabar, our best guild night but several regulars had other obligations and could not show.

Our Tuesday Night Static Group absolutely smashed Mabar, grabbing keys in the graveyard and pounding out all the ingredients including spectral scales to pick up some mounts/companions/cosmetics. Some of the group picked up pieces of the Mabar gear that was fitting too. It is likely that next weeks session will involve another round of Mabar looting before the event closes. The static group is proud to announce that SSG was unable to kill any of us off with their Mabar champs this year, with the lag fully resolved we are hoping that we will see crystal cove return.

And the story continues ……

Side notes: the barebones division have managed to run a handful of quests with no levelling yet. Wednesday night saw the Reaper 4 static group finish out a flawless epic reaper gianthold saga and has proceeded to take level 26, two ther groups were also running on wednesday evening. Named gear sundays was active with between one and two groups running all day mostly hitting mabar with a second smaller lower level group running some quests.

A special acknowledgement goes out to Pop for his dedication to permadeath, he has set the new guild record for guild night losing 3 of his toons in one evening. I personally was privy to him somehow annihilating himself with a wild mage chaotic spell result!!

your gaming is helping to restore confidence in the 64bits. I hope you guys continue enjoying the experience :)(y)
I guess we were fortunate because our guild held off until the last few days available for transfer, so we missed most of the crippling lag.

This week Tuesday night guild night saw us add two more new members that have returned to the game after many years away, thanks Axe for getting them interested in the game again with the permadeath playstyle. We again had three groups running throughout the night, splitting between helping the new players get going, some Mabar and some questing in mid levels. We are still waiting for that big turnout when the bulk of the guild is able to make it and we end up with 5/6 groups going(mabar champs does discourage many to not play as much).

Our Tuesday late night static group did a once thru the feywild encounter area, pulling a few of the unique items in the wilderness, before continuing to run some select level 7 quests. We will likely dip into a few of the cannith challenges this upcoming week to test out the game improvements and avoid more mabar champs.

Last Sunday we also saw the return of an old guild member Gwaed, welcome back, and today we saw the return or old guild member Larl finally tracking us down after the server transfers. Thats 4 more in total this week, we are closing in on 3 dozen guild members now and still are expecting Deca to add two more new members this week.

And the story continues ……

Side notes: the Wednesday Night saw the reaper static group taking level 27 and start pounding its way thru the wheelon prison chain on Reaper 3, wont be too long before this group hits legendary levels. The barebones players gave been playing less waiting for Mabar to wrap up.

Be EXTREME play EXTREME
