Tuesday Night guild night was slamming again as we had over 2 dozen players on yet again, in fact throughout the week leading up to it we had two groups running most of the time. Everyone was excited to hear that the event was being released and plans were made to our approach to the event and we plan to update our progress every tuesday here. Last weeks new member Whisp, as everyone remembers in the past as Ghoste for all his stealth videos, has arranged for his new stealth group to start on December 1st which is exciting. We also added another new member this week, “Tem” who i had played with back when the level cap was 10 in the original first permadeath guild calked Sublime permadeath on the Xoriat Server, welcome Tem.
As for guild night activities, many of the members prepped leading up to Tuesday by getting toons in the range of level 4-7 for what we boasted as a Tuesday raid night. We started in the early hours with the first chrono normal run, unlike quests being run on elite or higher, raids we can run on normal and hard with full groups allowing max level equal to quest adjusted level. The first raid ran with 9 players between level 4-6 and was completed flawkessly. A second chrono on normal was then run with another 9 players and unfortunately Willooh and Lay lost their toons while the other 7 players completed. A third chrono on normal was then run with a full raid group of 12 and was completed again flawlessly. During these raids other players not in the raid continued to run in other groups, with two other groups running while the raids were happening.
This lead up to the Level 7 static group running chrono on hard at 9 pm, the group took on other level players in the guild to fill to another full group of 12, the group utterly destroyed chrono hard flawlessly. The group then proceeded to log those toons for the night to form yet another level 4-6 toons chrono normal with another full group of 12 which again completed flawlessly. All in all much good gear was pulled from the raids for many members in the guild and some members learned chronoscope for their very first time in a no spoilers environment.
On Sunday during “named gear only” Sundays our members are expecting to run atleast two more chronoscope raids one of which will be an elite run.
And the story continues ……
side note: several of our barebones toons have continued their runs by taking down many of the level 3 quests, no deaths to report.
