falchion as a favored weapon

I like falchions but the Axiom of Faith doesn't seem to cover falchion as favored weapons. DO they count as Great swords or bastard swords?

11 AP in Wood Elf racial tree for Faith of the Forest is AFAIK the only way. And no, falchions don't count as great or bastard swords.

If you've already purchased Myth Dranor and you're an high level character, you could also use the falchion linked below.

Another option is to try cursing an item with "Favored Weapon."
I've applied curses to around 600 items so far and kept logs of all of them.
According to the logs, about 6 of them ended up with the Favored Weapon curse.
So I think the chance is roughly 1 in 100.

However, trying to get the Favored Weapon curse on a specific weapon isn't really practical.
