Favored Enemy Bug(s)

Just to bring awareness to this, but favored enemy damage is not working/scaling correctly. As this is core to both rangers (melee and ranged) and horizon walkers. As well as those who use the assorted enhancements.

Just to show as much as possible to hopefully get it addressed:

Damage without any favored enemy or marked target.
Ran around hitting other mobs to also getting 83 damage static:
(Combat): You hit Blood Tide Archer for 83 points of bludgeon damage. Non favored enemy.
(Combat): You hit Syndicate Swiftblade for 83 points of bludgeon damage. Favored enemy via feat.

Marked target added on but not Favored Enemy Construct. This is about 15 more damage.

Favored Enemy construct adding only 3 damage. (The damage is coming from agent of good, not favored enemy construct)

Favored Enemy Construct and Marked Target. This added +18 Damage from the base (15 comes from marked target-Tenacious hunter, 3 comes from agent of good).

My current Ideas as to what the issue is:
1.Favored enemy damage is only applying too marked targets. *After more investigation, this is not so. It was just tenacious hunter damage applying regardless of weapon type.
2. Favored enemies from any source simply just don't work.

Side note: I checked favored hunter 3/3 for +3 damage against favored enemies, this did no difference.
Also to give credit to where credit is due: Epzilon on discord is who originally brought this up from what I know.

How long has this been going on? Is it all favoured enemies or specific to horizon walker/universal trees?

Dont know how long. Best guess is when marked target came out, or never worked. As for the rest, favored enemy damage is not working as shown. the monsters I was testing against was human(feat)/goblinoid(Don't have)/construct(harper agent)

I can do things others can't...
Wouldn't be surprising. A lot of temporary stuff doesn't get considered for calculation of effects if they (the temporary Feats) do not grant it themselves.

After a bit more investigation. The +15 damage is not coming from any favored enemies at all. But Tenacious hunter in horizon walker (+6 damage, scaled to 147 melee power (+15)). I ignored this because it reads as longbow/shortbow only (silly me for thinking that was WAI)

I wonder when this bug was introduced. I remember when they added the cumulative favored enemy bonus, when they updated the ranger enhancement trees and I do remember it working back then.

You can take Favored Enemy: Thri-Kreen? Awesome! :)

But yeah, thinking to change my ranger to another class after I found this out.

I mean, really, it has been a decade of rogue ranged builds, and everything is fine. I don't see a reason to upset it all now. Fix warlocks killing party members with tentacles first. I had a smooth pug going up until a warlock joined ... I know now which Icon I'm toggling off in LFM.

Agreed warlock is a forbidden class especially in hardcore and permadeath.

The alternate way to handle warlocks is dont allow that spell from them, if they use it after that just put that particular on your own personal ban list. I wish they had a simple visible “do not play with/not friends/enemies” tab formatted in a similar way to your “friends” tab.

Per OP it affects all favored enemy feats, but marked target seems to work fine. Also some scaling issues.
Updated the OP with info from a later post. It was tenacious hunter damage that was applying regardless of weapon type not favored enemy damage applying.
