Level 8 usable green steel items? I haven't run low levels in so long I can barely remember what I have. But people always seemed to be amazed the original Shroud weapons were level 8 usable. The elemental clickie from triple earth isn't bad at those levels. The only issue is the 2 handed weapons get replaced by the SOS at 10. Clickie isn't bad for a couple levels beyond that though.

Quiver of Alacrity gets my vote.
But I own several Feather Fall level 1 items, as well as an unbound Waterbreathing helmet I pass around to newbie friends when there's swimming abound.
In the newer items, I'm partial to the level 2 orb from the Sharn chain.

Ring of melee alacrity 10% at level 1. I loathe clicking haste pots all the time, so this very old crafted item is really nice for low levels.

And my ring of feather fall with voice augment in it.

And the armors-that-shall-not-be-named crafted for level 1. That AC... oh, well, can't make those anymore, either.
Armors!? AC!? Ówò

Spear Bane, the Korthos bracers with spearblock on it was always great against all the Sahuagin.

Tiefling Assassin's Blade and Sky Pirate's Dagger from 3BC on level 4.

Goldcursed Dagger from Saltmarsh on level 3.

Bottle of Smoke trinket on level 3 from The Lost Gatekeepers. 20% Miss chance early pretty good!

Any Water Breathing item.

A newer piece of cool gear is "Icon of the High Tide", a LV 3 trinket with Profane Stats +1 and some cold protection.
I slotted it with a Solar Gem of +2 CON and a "Gift of the Master".
I rolled a Nat 1 on a curse for it (+1 Hide & Move silently) but still very happy with this new piece of leveling gear!

Oh. We're talking DDO? Yeah, no.

This game sometimes makes me question everything.
