It used to be customary for me to have a S&B dwarf fighter in every MMO so that was one of my first DDO toons as well as my first full-time raid tank.
Years ago I enjoyed melee Artificer using dwarven axes, even though I know it's far behind the meta curve now (and TBH back then too).
I have a dwarf monk who was a tribute to my favorite NWN 2 companion.

I have tried a s&b dwarf and a single weapon dwarf (trapper) with runearm.
The second is a fun concept but I wouldn't call it optimal for sure.
I think s&b is a better option with dwarven axe as you get sunergy of two different weapon styles.
I'm considering though too try an alchemist dwarf too

Throw your weight around SWF Dwarven Axe wielding with twohanded Mastery Ravager with one ED Tree as Macrotech with rune arm and mantle.
Very good damage mitigation, decent enough damage and healing on kills, visage with super high dc. Mine was around 7.5K HP in reaper and really hard to kill.

to me it was a dwarven barb/warlock/druid bear wich I did some different splits of. initialy I just wanted to test how much temp hp I could get together with aura ticks and all. it turned out fancy. the druid giving so much buff spells to strength and con together with rage giving the same, made to-hit not a problem and the damage was even decent even though I lacked +crit and multi. it can be done better today for sure. mb I should revisit

Lol this sounds fun, I havent even seen an alchemist yet, I'll have to read up on it.
Currently on my first dwarf paladin life (my first character actually) and doing dwarven waraxe vanguard, the racial points are killing me but I had to do it! Looking forward to having some free ratial points later.

For me it's gotta be a vanguard, very nice getting the threat boost on dwarven waraxes now.
