Fill in the blanks on healer tank build 15 Fvs/4 Ftr/1 Wzd

I saw mention of a healer tank build that is 15 Fvs, 4 Fighter, and 1 Wizard but with little more details. I believe I understand the 4 levels of fighter. I'm unclear what you're going for with the 1 level of wizard. Has anyone played this build that can share how they approached it? What am I getting with the 1 rank of wizard?

You can get get quite a few hp's from the first tier of the ek and pm trees. 10% exceptional AC bonus if your not going to get it from elsewhere.

The split is a bit outdated but as others have said its for the 10% ac that you would normally get in T5 SaD or core5 StD but tanks still get hit with 700ac so normally build for higher mitigation than avoidance these days (with some exceptions)

Magical Training (gives Echoes of Power), Eldritch Strike (free cleave+force damage without using a feat), Extend free feat for Imp Mage Armor or you could go Mental Toughness for more mana, Niac's Cold Ray to pull with (double normal range), 10 HP.

Sounds like a reasonable trade-off over another Fighter feat since there are no level 18 or 20 cores happening anyway.

No the trade off is level 8 spells (especially death pact) fvs already has magical training

I can't imagine how I read the thread title at 15 Ftr, 4 whatever, Wiz 1 but I did.

Thanks for correction. :)
