I remember playing with someone and they logged out in Myth Drannor and logged back in not too long after. For whatever reason, they were transported to Korthos Village. This was on release day, so I wasn't too surprised at something like that happening.
If I had to make an assumption, it might be something with forgetting to set your spirit binder point (as dying without one typically takes you to Korthos).

i finished from a quest and ended up in stormreach too, a few days ago... i kind of just blew it off as a fluke. Been waiting to see more stories like that, and here it is in this thread. Forget if it was Korthos that I ended up in and what quest... but yea definitely not myth d.

only happened once so far, but I only did heroic versions at lvl 15 and finished last two as favor at cap.

There was no death to release from LOL. No failed teleport message. No chat loss.

Just FO'd after quest completion and PFFFT back to Korthos.

However, the forgetting to bind on the airship thing causes a run from Korthos every few lives or so LMAO

I've had the mirror in mirror darkly randomly spit me out in korthos, wonder if it's related to your bug.

Maybe just blame that jeets who keeps looking for dead/undead naked adventurers out there on the beach.

No, but seriously, I wonder why it's porting us to Korthos. I hope it isn't symtamatic of a more serious problem.

Korthos is the default setting for death release. We can only assume it's also the default setting for zonechange failures.
It's probable the data is lost for where a character should appear so it spawns in Korthos.

This is likely just a bind point issue. There might be something else involved given that at least one witness believes they logged out in Myth Drannor (probably in the wilderness) and were in Korthos when they logged back in.

I always bind in the Portable Hole and when I release that's where I wind up. It's very possible that I've logged into the Portable Hole after logging out in the Myth Drannor wilderness. I wouldn't necessarily recognize this as an error due to the Portable Hole being a chosen bind point and so easily familiar to log into.
