Sometimes when lag gets me down while trying to play a little DDO, I take a break I get inspired and spend an hour doing things like this...

Hello,

I am a VIP subscriber to DDO and have been since approximately 2011. I am asking for your help, in whatever capacity you can provide, because I have been unable to obtain helpful support or communication from anyone at Standing Stone Games or Daybreak Game Company.

Currently the game is plagued by performance issues since the 64 bit server migration began on July 17th and has been mostly unplayable for a large portion of the player base. 2 servers in particular, Thrane and Shadowdale, have been subject to ongoing crippling lag on a daily basis for over 7 weeks without any reprieve.

Standing Stone Games has been derelict in their communication about the problems and mostly unresponsive to many of the players affected. Some players have been unable to access their player accounts for more than 6 weeks.

I appeal to your association with D&D, Daybreak Games, and Standing Stone Games to inquire as to the status of their progress in:
  1. Identifying the server side performance issues (multiple issues)
  2. Formulating a plan of action to resolve the existing problems
  3. Communicating their awareness of these problems, and offering actual support to customers most affected by these problems
The consequences of these severe problems, intensified by the unprofessional lack of any meaningful support or communication from SSG, has had the affect or disenfranchising a large portion of the existing player base, who are very loyal and love the game DDO, some of which will probably never return to the game.

Any and all assistance you can offer would be appreciated, or any reference to a support channel I can contact who can help resolve these problems.

Sincerely,

Now that I feel a little better I'll try playing again...

Another fun thing to do when bored is to report framerate dropping quests/maps such as partycrashers etc to amd and nvidia.

What are you expecting from WotC? All they do is input on licencing stuff DDO can or can't use. They will just brush it off and tell you to contact SSG.
