Running Eladrin thrower. On checking, my Autumn Fey Step is apparently only adding 9 SAD and not the expected 14.

Is this a bug, or am I missing something (aside from 5 SAD naturally! 🤣)?

-Old ToEE set is great if you still have it (two items with decent stats for 20 Quality RP), nice for HP bags where LGS offhand procs don't matter as much. The robe has good stats
-Gilvenors Set stacks with Wind Stance, Whirling Wrists and everything else and gives an 8-9% increase to animation rate with active attack clicking.

Do your own math on the trade offs

Pretty sure swapping in another LGS debuff would math out far ahead of 20 RP? Like LGS Dust + Ooze, even Ash (for Shiradi/FS etc). At least I assume you're replacing like Salt or another cc proc. Am I missing something?

Building around Gilvaenor's does seem funny lol. Might be a pain to get tho.

i already have both

in a 12 person raid if you are DPS I would hope those debuffs are alrady being applied. Even in a good r10 group that's likely too. There are only 3 LGS physical damage debuffs (Ooze, Vac, Dust) and you have one on your shuri already. Casters should apply their own Ash, not wait for a thrower to do it for them. There is synergy to running ToEE + Gilvs + SD (instead of Fatesinger) + Whirling Wrists, because you're leaning into throw speed and SA damage, and away from proc damage (Imbue and FS sonic stuff). So yeah, Ash is nice if you're running FS+Imbue in Shiradi. But again, if you have a caster they should be landing that already. Swaps also exist and it's easy to have offhands for all of the LGS effects now, you can swap as needed. I think the hardest thing to lose is the big damage from your offhand (so like i think ying said he uses DoV sickle for example). So the math is really if one of the big procs offhand is better than another 20RP. I think if you're doing SD strike, you're more or less doubling your SA damage (by adding in the untyped, tho im not sure how much that scales with RP), so the 20RP makes a big difference. I think the Gilvs set makes the bigger difference in giving you a flat 8-9% damage boost if you can click fast

Most r10 mobs are not alive long enough to even get debuffed IME, so this is mostly a consdieration for melting big bags of HP in raids/high reaper red names. Outside of that who cares everything just dies immediately.

FWIW as a rough rule of thumb I use salt and Ooze in R10 quests for mobs and, switch that combi out for dust and shadow for raid bosses.

I'll also switch up between SD and Shiradi mantles.

yeah makes sense, at the extreme edge we're talking about here situation/quest/raid/party comp is going to be much more substantial in the equation than any sort of out of context estimate of average damage

This is an absolute banger of a build. It’s smoking hot, super fun. But heads-up, to pull this off as shown, you’re gonna need some specifics:
36-point build,
+3 Racial tome,
+2 Universal tome,
+3 Fate tome
x3 Destiny Tomes
(I am playing this on a toon with only 168 past lives, , and only 125 reaper points - its full comp friendly but you will suffer with bad stats unless you get lots of PL/reaper points/gear) Gear is the real MVP for any build).

Also fair warning: I did Tabaxi Trailblazer, you cannot do any other high dex race such as Elf or Tabaxi. Obviously, play a tabaxi trailblazer. IF you do another race you will need to not level as a thrower and use an LR or an ottos box

Build Features
  • 600+ ranged power when max boosted in reaper (without many mythic/reaper items)
  • over 400% DS when boosted (5-6x damage multi)
  • amazing defense for a ranged character (high AC, dodge, moblity, and conceal/incorp for low dif raids)
  • 180+ to hit self buffed (more with party/reaper stuff/pots
  • 120%+ fort bypass
  • many debuffs (prr, mrr, spell resist, ac, fort, saves)
  • with enough past lives it levels ok in heroics and great in epics
  • decent self heals
  • very strong gearset to work towards over time
Pros
  • enough defenses to take many hits in r10s
  • great carry potential for reaper raids
  • good uptime on boosts (and many action boosts)
  • infinite ki in epics
  • insanely fast speed with abundant step, monk speed, and trailblazer speed
  • ungodly amounts of burst with the definitely balanced shiradi epic moment
  • under 33 second worm kill solo (2.8 mil)
  • extremely fun to play at cap and while leveling in epics
  • enough to hit for 99% of endgame mobs with debuffs
  • is not drow
  • doesnt take deflect arrows as a feat
  • doesnt take improved martial arts
  • takes titans blood
  • spends the correct amount of points in enhancement trees
  • has a heal
  • fantastic for raid solos/shortmans (will have some pics below)
Cons
  • rough time soloing in heroics (but still can, and its iconic so it starts at 15)
  • heavily underperforms when lagging
  • some mobs just become immune to your shuris for no god damn reason until you move
  • build requires max tomes and minimum racial comp
  • some raids you get absolutely rekt if you ignore a mechanic (like balor jump)
  • gearset is aids to farm with multiple rare and raid items and set augs
  • can pull giga aggro in raids if you have a bad tank
  • heavily reliant on 10k stars/shadow double to perform
  • needs a sentient swap for max dps (deadly rain when use action boost)
  • is not razorclaw
  • is not inquisitive
Getting Ki
the only way to regenerate ki on throwers is passive ki regen and the clicky from GMOF. in epics, the clicky basically gives you infinite ki, but in heroics you will struggle to keep your ki abilities active on cooldown. prioritze 10k stars and never use the incorp thingy from NS. the only ki abilities in epics i used were cauldron, 10k, shadow double, abundant step, diversion, and the incorp clicky. you have enough ki in epics it doesnt matter how often you use these. tabaxi trailblazer is the mandatory race due to giving 1 point of passive ki regen which is needed at all levels

What Stance?
this is an interesting question since the obvious choice would be ocean stance for the dodge and passive ki regen. in heroics, you need ocean stance for the passive ki regen as that is your bread and butter. in epics, i would recommend swapping to air stance because air stance gives an unlisted +15% attack speed to throwers that stacks with regular attack speed items. this allows you to animation cap, take power boost instead of haste boost in NS (because haste boost doesnt actually add any more speed when you are animation capped), and take the imbue dice in shiradi t4 at 26 (again, because you are animation capped).

Which Imbue?
imbue is heavily dependant on what you are fighting. most of the time, i run electric because electric has the least mobs resistant to it while still not having many mobs immune. For electric immune mobs (kor kaza, for example), i swap to acid as that can still hurt them

Tips
  • make sure to use a deadly rain 5 peice filigree swapped
  • make sure to use your many tumble charges to keep uptime on trickshot as well as to dodge big hits from monsters (doom reaper, tons of archers on r10, raid boss, etc). dodge is your main defensive tool and tumbling gives you 95% for 1 second
  • make sure to use mark target on bosses and doom reapers to lower their fort, ac, and saves so you can hit them better and land your shadowstrike debuff (DC isnt great so need debuffs on tougher bosses to land)
  • you are an incredibly fast and agile ranged assassin. use your speed as an advantage to kite enemies and group them up for aoes
  • in r10s, remember you have a lot of avoidance and can pull off some crazy defensive work to save your group
  • make sure to use the ki clicky on cooldown because you have lots of stable ki (each point of passive regen gives about 40 points of stable ki)
  • combo trick shot, 10k stars, shadow double, and hunts end on a debuffed boss for a huge hit (highest ive seen is 493k no time stop)
  • gem extra slot can also be insightful assassinate if you dont want the extra healing spellpower (i went form the devotion because my gearset is slightly different due to no jewlers kits and i had to adapt. i have less hamp so need to make up the healing somehow. id recommend the assassinate DCs instead for pure dps)
  • the gearset set augs are interchangeable with md augs (fort bypass can be set aug, imbue dice can be md aug, for example)
  • monk fast recall!
  • make sure to not waste trance charges as they come back slowly
  • shadowdancer epic strike is both an offensive and defensive tool. the extra untyped damage is very large due to your insane DS/RP and tons of SA dice. i can get hits of 6k+ untyped damage and remember this has 100% uptime. the t4 upgrade is also critical as it adds 5% uncapped dodge (defense) but the blind is also very useful as if any mob misses you for any reason, they get a no save blind for 5 seconds. a use case for this is archers in r10. they miss you a lot since they have bad to hit and no dodge bypass, and when they get blinded they cannot attack you and you get 50% extra dodge chance from blinded targets. huge clutch for r10s/raid solos due to trash becoming momentarily ineffective
  • shadowstrike does enough boss damage that it isnt only good for packs (fatesinger still better single target. i prefer SD for all the debuffs, doublshot, and SA dice).
  • in case you are wondering, yes the bloodrage does proc on ranged kill and the +5 damage works correctly.

Been playing a similar build since IOD dropped, never was D tier IMO. Shuri Cannon been around years kudos to Dalsheel and thanks for the awesome build Dal. This build requires advanced play style and not for learners, the mobility is a weapon not understood by less experienced players.
