Hi everyone, I’m here to report a really frustrating and serious bug that happened to me — and it still hasn’t been resolved.
Back in early March, I was moving items around and preparing for a TR when I noticed that every single weapon with a Sentient Jewel had vanished from my bank. The only one that remained was the one equipped on my character at the time. I spent hours trying to figure out what happened. I checked every alt, every possible location — the items just disappeared.
Here’s what I lost:

I submitted a ticket on May 10th, and I got a response on the 14th — but it was incredibly disappointing. They said the issue was forwarded to the Quality Assurance team, and that was it. I replied asking the most important question — am I going to get my items back? — and never got another reply.
Look, I love DDO. I’ve been a Dungeon Master since 2001 and seeing the books come to life on my screen was always magical. That’s why I’ve put up with all the issues — the infamous lag, the bugged ladders that’s been there so long it feels like part of the code, the countless bugs and the lack of real class balance. But this was too much.
I lost three weapons (one being a SoS) and three Sentient Jewels — two of which were from Ultimate Fan bundles. I bought all the expansions and mini-expansions of the game in the Ultimate Fan edition. And where I live, buying just one expansion costs the equivalent of half a minimum wage. That’s a massive investment! And now I feel like I wasted my money on a game that simply won’t get fixed — not because it can’t, but because the team doesn’t seem to care - about game and players.
I’m still extremely disappointed. I honestly hope things get better, but deep down, I’ve lost hope.

- Epic Storm
- Epic Sceptre of Devotion

- Vaunt Arcane Assistant (3 slots and filigrees)
