Fun Builds :-)

Often there are strong builds but what about the fun builds :)

Well I have build a Wizard/Rouge (Elf) with Longbow and it makes more fun then I was thining.
I have taken also the Horizon Walker Tree for the Bow and Pale Master and Haper Agent (int to hit)

Trapping was possible up to 32 R2 without any issues with the correct gear.
Damage was also nice as I have taken the Bow of Elements (Air) for electic spell power :) and if Spells are empty, have fun with bow

Its no Munschkin Build and also not a mini max but a very nice Fun build.

Lets see if I can get some more inspiration to make him stranger as HP is my big issue as it is for most mages :)

Do your own thing... I find that if i'm inspired to try something I then try harder to make it work especially if its fun. It's often the transitions from mid heroic levels to early epics then end game that can prove to be problematic (build needs tweaks badly!) but I play for the build and quest fun and socially too. If you have access to FvS and/or Falconry, and ranged is your thing, there is always FvS/Rog or Clr/Rog, or Arti and now Dark Hunter. I'd go WIS based, so your search/dd will take a hit but you do get some mitigation through lvl 2 divine spell helps with search (+1/2 cleric level) and you get prayer to help for all skills. War Priest/Soul would provide a LOT for a bow build; it wouldnt be a min/max build, but WP/WS provides + hit/dmg, + health, + crit profile, + haste (5th core), + full BAB and + 10% doubleshot (15% for FvS). IMHO FvS is simplest and tidier, as WIS is better for spot, and get WIS to hit and damage at lvl 2 FvS, WIS based trance from War Soul. WP and WS tier 5 also provides an AoE ranged attack (CD 5 secs). Good luck!

EDIT: if you did have access to Falconry, then you could try Dark Apostate and splash into Falconry to get WIS to hit and damage. DA provides better imbue (evil) than WP/WS (fire) and the tier 2 extra die also provides ghost touch. It does require you to stretch out the stats and I'd probably do this for a 32 point build:

Human, Aasimar or another race with base 10 dex. Build WITH TOMES as close as you can to 8/14/14/16/16/8 with all level ups into WIS, WITHOUT TOMES 8/16/14/14/16-18/8 and 3 level ups into DEX (if you want Improved Precise Shot) then rest into WIS.

War Priest 37 AP, Dark Apostate 11 AP, Falconry 31 AP (for WIS Trance, extra helpless damage, cc and the wonderful sprint boost).

REMEMBER, Dark Apostate Undead Form provides +2 WIS and +2 CON! ALSO, if you went 18/1/1 DA/Arti/Fig you would bag two extra precious FEATS :) or alternatively arti/barb for the extra 10% base speed.

Thanks for the hints. Well I think its fun to see also some "fun" builds which is not for max DPS and so. Juest the idea behind to build something or get something new that works

Both the bubble arti and debuffer warlock builds I've posted are pretty strong and fun. I love support builds and playing as a team, so I find helping other players live or making them do more damage pretty fun. They're nowhere near what a DPS build would do for numbers, but for fun and group play they bring the joy for me. I also enjoy running healers and that too is niche playstyle like support builds.
