Funny Stuff in DDO

So yesterday I was on a lower level toon (not my main) and was trying to do Elite level on all the Korthos quests. I picked up a hire to help out on Misery's Peak. I decided on a spell caster (I think I had the Wizard, but might have been the Sorcerer). Well, the hire was anything *BUT* helpful. It kept casting Grease at every opportunity. I made my saves most of the time, but it still slowed my movement down. The funny thing about it was that the hire wasn't making its saves, and kept falling down. Also the Grease spell was affecting me even when I wasn't in an area covered by the Greased effect (this even happened when I was up on an ice ledge, and the hire was below).

Also in the Misery's Peak quest, my hire cast Grease immediately on the Cannith Crystal when the quest got to the point where you are supposed to destroy it. I had a really good laugh at that! :D

I also did the quest in the Cannith Manufactury. I failed the first time. I was fine, but Hayton died. I still had full HP when the quest booted me out, but as soon as I was outside the Cannith Manufactury, my HP went negative and I died for no apparent reason.

Anyway, I'm not complaining about any of this - I just found both instances funny and had a good laugh. I hope you all get a good laugh at it too.
Just an FYI. You can right click the spell in the hires action bar and disable it.

most classic is Searing Heights

usually the 1st trip to lava areas for players, and those Hires love to go Swimming...> it's even funnier when players go to Gianthold and didn't learn to control those hires yet.... glub glub burn die

I like using the cleric Flower. She's pretty good. I wish there was a high level version of her. I agree with the FVS, they are generally good.
