Fusillade/No Holds Barred

Not really suggesting to group with less people - just that if everything is dead instantly all the time from regular active attacks then everyone's action boosts including haste boost are irrelevant and unnecessary - same goes for people doing heroic R1 past lives.

Fusilade is the best action boost available (if it matters to do more DPS) and it comes with a higher cost of use. Seems like a fair tradeoff.
Haste boost is good no? Doesn't have a delay no?

Why is it I feel like there is a group of mostly melee players that literally post on every thread with ranged/caster and argue against any buffs?

Removing the windup and reducing the duration by 2 seconds would unarguably be a DPS buff.
Here's the important part: While that windup happens, you no longer attack.
You trade 2 seconds of no attacks for 2 seconds of 100% of your normal, non-Fusillade damage.

I don't disagree using the ability feels a bit clunky compared to other Action Boosts, but the decrease to the duration should be more than the windup time for it to be a fair trade.

Why? Add windup to haste boost then only fair I guess.

No, everything is dead before EF gets going because everyone EXCEPT the xbow builds can activate their boosts at will with no delay.

I currently run several melee DPS toons and no xbow DPS but I'm still advocating for the removal of the delay because it's a terrible QoL for xbow users for no real reason. There are multiple, far better ways to balance EF if it's stronger than other boosts.

The windup animation causes the ability to just fizzle much of the time, this is the main reason it should be removed.

The windup was added to allow melee players more time to get in on the kills. Then they added the spring attack feat to further help the situation. They only wanted to make grouping fun for everyone but it was a terrible solution. I think what we ended up with was a lot of people switched their builds away from Inq at the time.
