Game crashes stepping into MD wilderness

I think I saw a note about this in an update or patch, and I'm not sure if it's still happening to anyone else.

If I'm logged into the game for any time longer than roughly an hour, stepping into MD wilderness causes my game to crash and shut down (I usually get through one or two quests, and then get booted). It happens whether I'm entering the wilderness from the Outskirts, or when leaving the quests, (both with the finish/recall button, and stepping out from the quest entrance). I don't have this problem in IoD, Sharn, Ravenloft, or anywhere else.

I'm not sure if there is a setting I need to adjust...I'm on the 32-bit client (64-bit does weird things sometimes). If anyone has ideas, I'd appreciate the help - please and thank you!

Swapping between 32bit/64bit seems to be what folks find helps. But even then it's a bit hit or miss.

Step 10 here is a good one to check too: https://forums.ddo.com/index.php?th...ourced-by-many-players-advice.1666/post-17453

You can also try stuff like disabling Per Pixel Lighting or setting a max frame rate to a value like 60 in various game settings; but those settings tend to be more long shot/hope it helps type attempts.

Thanks, rabid, much appreciated! I'll give these a shot. After a couple of MD quests or doing runs for rares, it gets tiring having the game shut down on me.
