Game Magnifier Tool

I have built a Windows 11 game magnification tool, looking for a few beta testers. I am looking for players with High Resolution monitors so I can adjust the magnification options based on feedback.

Due to a longstanding Windows limitation with the Magnification API + transparency + click-through, a small 'ghost' cursor often appears in magnified areas (the larger one targets correctly—ignore the smaller one). I'm exploring fixes like custom cursor overlays or hiding the duplicate. If you've seen similar in other tools or have ideas, I'd love to hear them!

I'm particularly looking for feedback from players on high-resolution monitors (1440p, 4K, ultrawide, etc.) regarding zoom quality, performance (CPU/RAM), lens stability in raids/dungeons, and how the double cursor feels in practice. Any screenshots/videos of your setup would be hugely helpful!

Beta testing would involve running it during normal play (quests, raids, etc.) for a week or two and sharing observations via PM or screenshots.

This is a pure client-side magnification tool—no injection, no memory reading/writing, no network activity.

Many of the controls are accessible via a right click context menu on the Magnification Toolbar.

If anyone is interested please contact me via a PM and I will provide a link to the file and answer any questions I can.

This is an example of what it can do at 1.5x magnification.

## Tips for Best Results

### For Gaming
- Position lenses over mini-maps, skill bars, or chat windows
- Lock lenses so clicks pass through to the game
- Use 1.5x to 10x zoom

## Saving Your Setup

Forge Magnifier automatically saves:
- Lens positions and sizes
- Zoom levels for each lens
- Which monitor each lens is on
- Lock states
- Toolbar position and transparency

Your setup is restored when you relaunch the application.

Ultra-lightweight: Only 84 KB file size, ~1.2% CPU idle, ~95 MB RAM (mostly screen buffers)—perfect for running alongside DDO without noticeable impact.
