Getting an Error message on Cannith: "World transfer packing cannot proceed: Character packing has been disabled on this world."

For me at least, nothing happens after I click the transfer button on the launcher. The hourglass never goes away.

SSG, you really should have some checklists followed before you open up the worlds.

transfer window blank for me. SSG uses different checklists when doing stuff.
Open Server.
2hrs later, allow packs to work
4 more hrs. transfers work
3 days later, log in because we forgot checklist and broke servers
6 months later, response to all tickets 1 at a time per week. watch players faces when they have no clue what the ticket was about.

Transfer "Wizard" hourglass is not moving. All 38 toons got packed up & are now stuck in Limbo. 17 years of failure to QA a process before going live. Have we learned nothing? 17 years worth of toons, plat & gear stuck in the void. Why have we put up with this? It's like an abusive relationship "I know SSG hits me but it REALLY does love me!!"

Do you know if 64 to 64 bit server transfers will be available this Q4 or are we looking at next year? Just so we can plan accordingly if possible.

For clarity: does it operate according to any kind of queue? Should I wait at the hourglass, or assume that if it's stuck there for a few minutes it has timed out and I should try again?
