In any given posting on any forum there will statistically be some who miss a nugget of information. There will probably be a nugget of information that you missed too.
I would say that most of us missed a few points of almost everything we read. We tend to skim and not think about every single point and we definitely don't commit every point to memory. And if there are a LOT of points, it is hard to remember all of them.
Does anyone here think they have the entire post memorized? If you do, realistically, you probably don't. The more sure you are that you have everything memorized, the more likely you actually do not (look up the Dunning-Kruger effect). Some things stand out, and some your brain deemed to unimportant to hold onto. And especially a few days afterward, you begin to forget. That is just how the human brain works. And, as you get older, it tends to get worse.
Here is an example. I read the post. I am deeply concerned about the transfer, so I read it fairly carefully. I was playing along the other day, getting my end game sagas and something occurred to me. My guild is small so I still collect the guild renown. I run all the end game stuff and then pop a potion and gather all the guild renown. As I was doing so yesterday, I thought, "Hey. Does the saga progress get transferred? Do I need to turn these in before I transfer?"
Some of you probably know exactly what the answer is, because it is in the release. Some of you may be thinking "Hmmm. Good question." If you are thinking "Hmmm" it means you missed a nugget.
I wasn't sure about sagas. I read the release when it came out. I did not remember anything at all about saga rewards being mentioned in the release. I know if you TR they go away. I knew I read the release fairly carefully. I started to post a message to the forum. But I though I should check the release first. I went back and looked again and there it was spelled out plain as day.
Saga rewards will transfer. You do not need to cash them in.
So yeah, given all that, someone will miss the point and will indeed try to create a new guild. And then we will have a forum post about how evil SSG is. And some will really give the poor soul a very hard time for not paying attention. There will be flame posts about how SSG doesn't care about its players. And there will be flame posts about how idiots who cant read should play anyway. And in a few weeks it will all be over with at least one less guild and a few less players.
