Glass Shards...Has it Been Fixed?

OH dino items have 20 ranged alacrity. 'Course those are mostly only usable with crossbows and dagger throwers. Alternatively, use a Dino chest armor.
You need to get the Augment from the raid to put in the Dino armor to get the 20% Ranged Alacrity.

There’s a ton of broken gear in this game, and it’s going to stay that way until a dev is forced to actually interact with it, which of course rarely, if ever, happens because none of them play the game. So for now, at this moment, you’re going to have to deal with it being broken and move on or not use it.
I don't think it fully fair to blame the loot designer when the underlaying code is broken.
When a dev continually releases broken stuff, that means the dev is incompetent. Test it. Fix it. Repeat. Oh, that cycle loops around a bit too long? You're in the wrong profession. A competent dev almost never has to fix it after testing and I mean real testing, not simply admiring it.

There's worse, though. Anyone else remember the altar augment for improved destruction? It costs 2x raid items (2500 runes) and is outright worse than Deconstructor, which is really easy to farm. We told him not to make it when he was excitedly talking about "this great augment idea" he had -- that it's just plain insulting to waste time on things no one wants -- and .. now it's in game.

Dunno which ones check their ideas against reality before diving in, but it's definitely not a requirement.

It doesn't do any damage and doesn't give adamantine bypass.
The Deconstructor absolutely grants Adamantine bypass. I don't know about the rust damage, though. That's not why I slot it, so I've never bothered to test that.

Any yellow numbers you see against a construct (that requires adamantine to bypass DR) are likely the result of PRR the construct may have. The yellow numbers change to orange when their PRR gets debuffed away.

Yes, Deconstructor does, and it seems to me that Essence of Constellation, Broken and Reforged doesn't. :)

Is it broken in all weapon types (melee, ranged, thrown) or just certain?
I think you two are misreading what Palefox is getting at.

Stacks every second as opposed to every 3 seconds is worse???

If I read this correctly, Mindos was asking how the Essence of Constellation aug's Improved Destruction effect (1s cooldown) was worse than Deconstructor's Destruction effect (3s cooldown).

Palefox was just pointing out Deconstructor also provides Adamantine DR bypass and a small rust damage proc to make the case of why Deconstructor was better than Essence of Constellation.
