Hello, folks!

I've created a channel where I publish all my flawless solo r10 runs using hirelings and summons (yes, they are viable and useful in r10s if you have the right build).

It already has one of the largest collections of flawless solo r10 completions for DDO on Youtube (over 70 quests published, with 2 new coming every day), and the goal is to eventually have a video for every single Legendary quest in the game (a few may be virtually impossible due to specific mechanics hostile to soloing and/or hires/summons, but that's the goal).

Goal update: all the lag has really slowed down my progress, together with the fact there are just the hardest ones left. But I'm still moving forward, albeit on a slower pace.

Got 138 quests done (125 published, 13 more waiting to be published), 28 more to go...

Here's another sample, one of the hardest ones for me to get done so far (the fact it's pretty long doesn't help, but that was more because of all the lag than anything else, really):

Oh, I thought you actually knew about any actual nerfs, but it seems you're just one of those 50 people you warned me about. :)

I very much doubt SSG would actually decide to use their very busy time amid all the lag and engineering issues that threaten the very game's survival to "nerf" a build that at this point, as far as I know, is only being used by one person to this effect (soloing r10s) and is probably as far from the current meta as one gets.

But thank you for your concern.

I do not think your build will be nerfed. if anything, I am making a joke about those people. I guess I was unclear, that is my bad (also v cool build, glad to see a not bad summoning build)

It's ok, I'm sorry if my reply looked aggressive, it was actually tongue in cheek.

In all honesty, I would love if my build got nerfed, because that would mean my channel actually created enough buzz that a significant enough number of people started to use it to justify action from SSG, which would in turn mean my strategy in promoting the hirelings/summons playstyle was succesful. ;)

Also, I do not recommend that people use my build to solo r10s, because it still takes quite long to do it, taking into account the caster nerf and the time to manage the hires and summons - I am doing it for the challenge and to show it's possible, but on an everyday basis if soloing I'd not go over r8.

This was another one of the toughest completions so far. Had to change my Destinies setup up a bit to beat the end fight, but finally got it:


141/165 Done (130 published, 11 more scheduled for publishing, 24 to go).
