I've seen AI stuff that was actually good, and it turned out that person who used AI to make it also "tweaked" it after AI was done (in some cases extensively to such degree that you can call AI part of it sketch).

sadly 99% of AI stuff on YT is just slop that's not even checked by "author" before they uploaded it... (I mostly blame YT for that, since their monetizing system encourages quantity over quality approach)

I sent a DM to the author asking about process. I suspect he does a LOT more than feed it lyrics and stand back. My suspicion is that he's feeding it lyrics, score, and some singing; eg. if I was to sing something it would sound more or less like a human trying to sing. No one would confuse it with real singing, BUT I could see AI using that as a basis for conversion to real on-key singing.

The breath and emotional intonation is too good for me to believe it's pure AI without a LOT of human input.
