Good leveling rune arms

Hey all,

With the upcoming updates to rune arms and the new ED I was thinking of doing an artificer caster life after a long time. I was just wondering what are the best rune arms to prepare while leveling up from 1-30.

Thanks!

Scroll down the OP to the "Rune Arm" discussion. It won't include the most recent*, but all recommendations are still solid.

(I'd also include Khyber's Fury (from Tangleroot end reward), for 75 Fortification at ML 5. Handy, easy to farm under-level, and the recent RA aiming changes make the blast more effective.)

(* speaking of, the Feywild Necronomicannon is handy for squeezing in Set bonuses, and has several nice effects)

I really like the feywild one because it gives ghostly at level 5 (and randomly one shots mobs). But generally, I tend to go for whatever runearm is party of a set I'm currently using up until arm of the archons because that's when runearm damage really starts going wild. Quarantine is great (but cold) and tovens is (or was up until the newest changes happen) the best by far.

It's hard to say, it'll depend on situations. Strinati's Hand Cannon will likely be even better than before for AoEing stuff. Necronomnomnomnom will be good for set bonus, ghostly, and trapping the soul mobs. And bunch of one's that used to be junk will be useful. So many have been bad for so long that we'll really have to spend a few lives trying them all out and seeing how they feel vs each other with the rework to rate them all.

Awesome, thanks for the responses all! Time to find my rune arm stash and farm up any of these that I dont have in preparation!

Those are the two I'm using on a lower level build right now. Will be really curious to see how they work after the update (as well as some of the other arms that seem rather "meh" right now).
