Hello, all!
We have found a bug with some of the Gravekeeper armor-slot items in The Chill of Ravenloft. In response, we're going to make some adjustments to those and a few other items, as outlined below.
The Bug:
Our intent with the Gravekeeper line of armors, which can be found in chests in the Lamordia Wilderness Area, was for them to have 2 Lamordia Augment Slots and 2 Static Effects. Instead, some of these items have 4 Lamordia Augment Slots and 2 Static Effects.
Rather than re-adjust it back to that intended version, which would risk losing augments people have already placed, we're splitting the difference and letting these armors continue to be somewhat stronger than planned:
The Fix:
In an upcoming patch, we will adjust all of the Gravekeeper line of armors (bugged and otherwise) to have 3 Lamordia Augment Slots and 2 Static Effects. The Gravekeeper Armors that have a Woeful Slot will lose that slot. As it is not currently possible to make Augments for the Woeful slot, this will not cause any players currently using Gravekeeper items to lose Augments or effects that those items have right now. You can continue to use and add Augments to these items in the meantime.
An Additional Adjustment:
The Downcast line of armor-slot items, found as Rare Loot in various Lamordia dungeons, was meant to be the more versatile alternative to the Gravekeeper line, having 3 Lamordia Augment Slots and 1 Static Effect. To retain that balance, we will be changing the Downcast line to have 4 Lamordia Augment Slots and 1 Static Effect at the same time as the above bugfix. As with the above fix, this will affect both new and already-looted copies of the items.
The patch with these adjustments will also introduce Bleak Transformers into the treasure tables for the purple-named bosses in the Lamordia Wilderness Area, allowing for the creation of Woeful Augments.
