Guild, airship love

Dear all,
I would like to see some guild, and airship love with the first opportunity.

(1) Cargo hold needs some more options.
(A) I would suggest different type of vendors. Like scroll vendor, wand vendor, pot vendor. They could be inspired by the guild vendors at house K.
(B) I like that we get crafting devices at the cargo hold, could we also get the deconstruction device?
(C) A better practice target perhaps? Something with 100k HP?
(2) Some decorative paintings? I would put at the corridors spots that we can buy and place a painting. The game has plenty existing art that appears in many different locations. Use that as a starting gallery!
(3) Obviously new, more amenities are always welcome. But getting new more bonuses are really unnecessary. So I was thinking that we could possibly get a new amenity that gives no bonus! But has a different purpose:
(A) Guild hall of Fame: mentions the toons with the highest contributions (keep it to 12 toons?). Ideally, has a statue of each as the appear in the current life.
(B) A trophy room: this needs some engineering... Ideally, after you finish some quests you get a token that you need to place in the trophy room. Then a trophy for that token appears. I would make it a token per raid and I would make it that it drops as a relatively rare item! Yes that would be guild bragging rights 😅.

Let's start with these ideas.

I just want a nice big room, where you can put in gold and gems, and it visually reflects it. Not 1:1 of course, that would be a little nuts. Have a little effect where the piles of gold and plat get larger the more you put in it. Where the mounds of gems reflect the colours and quantities of the gems and jewelry you've placed in it. Maybe even something to reflect those stolen tableware and uncut gems you didn't turn in.

Totally not saying this because of the 8+ filled Large Gem bags kept in my bank.
[Had to after they got over 1,000lbs. I do NOT have a hoarding problem, only a hauling problem =P ]

I would add:
1) Buff bar at guild ship portals, so you don’t need to port onto a laggy ship; and when you click it, you get the ship captain dialogue option for a location. This then let’s you transport directly instead of a) entering ship; b) buffing; c) running up to captain. Hey, it is way better than 12 years ago when we went into the hold for every buff and they lasted 1 hour, disappeared on death…

2) add a cargo hold door next to the hold doors. Right now 99% of selections are for cargo; iust give it its own separate click location so no times is wasted on the laggy guild ships.

3) How about if everything that is in the cargo hold is just moved to the surface deck?

Lol.. I recognized you from the gem hoarding before I saw your name... and you DEFINITELY have a hoarding problem.

(Hint: I use the same image on Discord, albeit a different handle.)

Still.. no reason why you and the Kobolds shouldn't be able to admire your shinies.

Adorable! Last I counted (Yes, counted.) I had around 234,000 gems in total. 6 Larges full 30/30 in a stack of 100, along with 10 or so other bags with varying amounts of 1000. My main bag weighs around 2300 pounds (Meaning it has 22,900+ gems in it :)) alone! But yes, I would LOVE a 2nd cargo hold in my guild ship just so I can display my ridiculous collection. Maybe throw in some thief tools, seeing as I have 100,000 of those too! :D

Last time we had any attention to guildships was for U45 (Released Feb 12 2020), "Age of the Alchemist".
"Airship Cargo Hold stat buff and resistance amenities are no longer sold. Convenience amenities remain available."

I vaguely remember Lynnabel saying that they had been wanting to do away with those resists since 2014. However, it had been done at that point, since the feedback from HC S1 had said that "elemental resists made it easier". HC S2 was released 7 days later (Feb 19th 2020 - May 12th 2020).

Prior to that was U42 P4 (2019), we no longer had to turn on/off the bravery streak via the NPC on the top deck of the airship.

Really we could do with these being made available for plat.

Then you could hoard in there too :D

I wonder if anyone buys those?
The truth is the airship is the only place I have spent astrals. I still need more astrals for it tbh.
I bought up the 3% XP shrine, but getting astrals is slow for me. Don't really know what sales.
If anyone has a good advice what to trade for me to get 4% and 5% XP, I would love to hear it.

Feedback from who, imaginary people SSG made up??

In HC you could get house P buff fairly early and quickly that trumped doing the low level(1-7) quets, they didnt get rid of the cargo hold buffs because of it making it easier in hardcore.

it was the hit that cargo hold buffs caused on the bottom line of revenue, this was due to the nature of cargo hold buffs, cargo hold buffs were like ship buffs in that they were not dispellable, this meant neither beholders nor dispel magic, got rid of them, these impacted quests more in the level 8 to 12 Range. Note smart players combatted this with permanent energy resist in the form of cannith crafting or yellow augments from mysterious remnants or collectibles trade ins. Of course gradually SSG decimated the drop rates of remnants and collectibles and in the case of the heavy fortification augment that you use to be able to trade for from collectibles in the giant family(ogres/trolls/giants) they added the planar shards family of collectibles to drop instead so the trade in was harder to come buy and the after that they even proceeded to add more useless blue augments to the list you could randomly get from the trader to water it down further, all to drive monetization and revenue.

You need to truly understand the monster we are all dealing with, it is not accidental it is all planned and it will not be stopping itnhas cone too far for that.

I know you say that we don’t need stronger ship buffs but why not?

Let’s get guild level 300, more buffs, and a bigger ship already. It’s been like 12 years.

How about coding the airship so any officer can purchase cargo hold small amenities with guild airship currency/funds? Right now, there's no way to remove excess airship funds once the airship is completed.

I cannot be the only one that built up their guild airship, only to later discover they used personal funds/shards, instead of the guildship funds/shards first ....

Give us a Vol shrine room then I’m happy and there is some room! 😁. The abbot and silver flame got one!
But in all seriousness I do like this idea with some little decorations or furniture here and there.

Half (or some relative portion) of the fun decorating our LOTRO houses is having them open for visiting so others can see the results.

Not sure how that could even work here with ships outside of the individual ship invite system.

Well, they could add an enter a random airship option 🤣.
But I think the invite to airship would be sufficient.
Vol, should get his amenity too. As I mentioned, the amenities don't need to give a buff. For vol, maybe a cool pot vendor would work out.

A guild airship amenity with no buff? Can you imagine the flames from the community over a useless amenity you have to buy?

I mean.. I guess it could be rare raid loot..?
