I was in the general discussion thread discussing hardcore with other users. Apparently a dev said there'd be hardcore something Q4 2026 or something like that, maybe. Some other users raised concerns about "sterilecore." which apparently was a thing, however I can't find it on the wiki.

So this thread is effectively just speculation about a theoretical next hardcore league.

There are rumors that the next league may be on softcore servers, so I just wanted to ask that in that case there be no trading, guilds, grouping, or banking with softcores, which would be dramatically stronger than hardcore characters. Therein you could still talk too and see other players, but the hardcore ladder would still have integrity.

We're getting another flacidcore event like the last two years.

Despite players wanting classic hardcore back, SSG has dug in its heels and flat-out refused to give into this, insisting their flacidcore idea is better because it doesn't split the player populous.

Let's hope that there will be limitation for grouping and getting hard core event progress.
